Ok for those you of who have been helping me to get my car to start once
again here is an update. I finally got an ohm meter and measured the coil
resistance the best i could with the lack of knowledge i had about the
machine and the process in conjunction with the horrible instructions. All
in all i managed to gather this about my Accel super coil. The ohms who
jump up (once again dont know how much because it would just quickly flast
up and didnt know too well how to translate the read-out) in number when you
would first turn the key to start the car then if you kept on trying to
crank the meter who read the same amount as it would with the car off. So
this is really all i gathered from the process and someone mentioned i
should have .82 resistance with this coil however i never got anywhere near
this number. With the meter set to measure under 1 ohm the screen would
read anywhere from 3 to 5 flickering back and forth then jump to about 20
when first start to crank the back to 3 or 5. I never quite understood this
as how the meter was supposed to read under 1 and i never got a decimal.
Any ways so i still think that the coil is the weak link and possibly a new
one will start the car. I did go to the parts store to buy another one but
they gave me the same one i took back which i think i might have shot.
Anyways sorry for the long post and any suggestions and advice is welcome
and thanks for all the help so far.
Michael
