I have fiberglass bumpers on my 72 and they are from unlimited products, they are just fiberglass, no steel. i like them, but they shake when the car idles on the ends, other than that, they save weight and they can match the color of the car.

Are they solid fiberglass or fiberglass-over-steel? Will they perform their
duties as well as the standard chrome-over-steel bumpers? If you're not
sacrificing protection and it's a street-driven car then it sounds like
an interesting approach. But if safety and protection would be compromised
then I'd stick with the chrome...
