Mark, I went with the 40 series, Delta flows. (2.5" pipes, Flowtech headers) The mufflers are not loud in the car at all, I was expecting more noise but outside the car they sound great at idle and super under acceleration. I like them but judging from what I hear on the streets around here, I think many people want louder mufflers. The mufflers do not drive me crazy (from inside the car) like the Thrush mufflers I had on my Roadrunner as a kid. :) Did you listen to the samples of the various mufflers at Flowmasters website? These will only be as good as your sound card but you can make some comparisons. If you ever get in my neck of the woods and want to hear them before you make your purchase, let me know.
