[Chevelle-List] tires?

I need to get some new meats out back on the Chevelle. 4.10 gears and the weenie 225/60R15's that sit about 24" tall is no joy at 55 mph. How the guy I bought it from ever got anywhere quickly I don't know, but how big of tire can be fitted out back with the plain old stock Malibu springs? What is everyone else running for wider and taller tires? I do plan to go bigger later and lift the rear a touch with new slightly larger springs, but for now I'd just like to be able to hit 65 mph with out the tach reading 4 grand! Here are a couple of size I was looking at...   255/70R15 (rated to be 29.10 tall and 10.25 wide, but we all know this varies) 245/60R15 (26.55/9.45) 255/60R15 (27.05/10.25) 275/60R15 (28/11)   BTW... the back spacing on my wheels is like 4.5 or 5" if that sounds right... just kinda did a quick on the car measurement.   Your input and thoughts are appreciated, thanks Mikey
