I got mine from Ground Up of course! Haven't gotten them yet, just ordered yesterday. You really don't have to worry about warping the sheet metal as you are not trying to get it to a smooth flat exterior panel. It won't warp badly enough to effect fit as long as you screw the whole thing down first then plug weld  then finish up your seams. You could jumparound from side to side to lessen warpage as you weld.      One of the things I am concerned with is the steel itself inthe new pans. I used a repro doorskin on my car and the steel was WAY softer than the original steel, which is another reason I'm leaning towards just patching as needed. It would seem the old steel when solid would resist the bolts and seats tearing thru more than the mew steel? I do like the idea of the cleaner look of using the whole large sections. How about you guys who do concours restos? What is the consensus on sheetmetal? The more original the better, or the better finished product? Thanks for all the other opinions (Jim and KenD!) That’s my thoughts and plans at this point anyway.   The one thing I am worried about is warping the sheet metal when welding. Anyone have any tips?   I am curious as to where you bought yours and why you chose that source.
