Chad, Another thing to consider is getting a car that you won't kill yourself in. My first car was a '71 Chevelle SS454 clone. If it weren't for the fact that I spent more time under it than in it, I would have been a statistic. Big block cars, posis and wet streets will at the least cause you to bite a hole in your seat, and worse kill you and maybe someone else. I guess the point is work your way up from a mild small block and if at all possible get enrolled in a performance driving school so you know how to handle a vehicle that's out of control. I personally can't believe that my Dad would give me a car like that, but now I know where I get my lack of sense.
