Over the years I've assembled lots of spark plug wires for my cars, mainly because the so-called "custom fit" sets, never fit.
My favorite tool in my tool box is my MSD plug wire crimpers. They aren't cheap ($50) but if you make as many sets of wires as I have, they are the best thing since sliced bread. Not only do they make the best/easiest crimps, they also have a spot to cut the insulation away without harming the conductor.
