by switching the rods 180deg. what do you mean ?
How does the piston come higer up in the bore doing this.

What I'm thinking about building (over an extended period of time 
because of cost) is 3,75" X 4,155" with 6" rods or if possible 3,875" 
or 4" stroke. that would be 406, 421 or 434 cid = BB torque

Filling the block halfway with block filler and put on milodon main caps

I have a friend racing with two 406's and my other friend have a 400 
cid with a small blower in his street driven 57 Stepside, they are both 
happy so I think I will give it a try.
