I agree, 4500 is a fair price.  The true cost is how much you will put into
it down the road.  I paid 3500 for my 66 in fair shape with the distinct
understanding that I had a minimum 5000 additional out lay to get it where I
wanted it (at least for starters).  But never underestimate the incidentals
that come along!

4500 i think is a fair price if you know for a fact that the things done to
the motor were actually done .have you drove it?  Is it a daily driver ?
2door or 4 door?  Its pretty tough finding a 35 year old vehicle that looks
and runs good. anyway,  half the fun of having a classic is working on it
and seeing the  car change .
