I'm getting ready to put a 327 back together for my
'66 that came stock with camel hump heads and 4 bbl
car, and is a '67 motor. If I remember correctly,
there was a 210 horse 327, 275 horse 327, and a 325
horse 327 that year ('67).
The pistons in the motor have the 2 quarter-size
punches in the top, they're not smooth or domed on
top. The lifters and cam are hydraulic.
My questions are,
#1 can anyone tell me what hp motor this one might be
with what I've described is inside?
#2 can anyone recommend a cam/lifter set that I can
drop into this motor to get between 300-350 HP? The
more specific (ie brand, part #, etc.), the better.
