For sheet metal parts(hood,fenders,doors,etc.)You
could also use a plastic bead abrasive. Sand will heat up the sheetmetal too
much and cause warpage.
Check out TP Tools or Eastwood for ideas of
abrasive prices.

I have been checking this out lately...I just
bought a new compressor and I am ready to start in on my '71 Chevelle
'Vert.
They have quite a few hard to find tools and they
are reasonably priced.
