Well, supposedly it runs good, complete from oil pan to
carb. The owner got back to me with these numbers:
Front pad....
T1221TRW ...and a date code of L 17
73
I think he was asking 1000.00, I was
figuring 750-800 offer, if it looks good.
Of course, now that I have a line on this, I
won a bid on ebay for a steel crank for the 402...

I paid $500 for the 454 I currently have in my 70 and it
was in pieces when I
got it. I guess it was kind of a gutsy move
seeing is how I took it without
knowing if the block was cracked or
not. It's a plain old 2 bolt out of a 73

:-). I would say it's worth $500 if it doesn't
run, and maybe $800 if
it does run, regardless, extra 454's are nice to have,
thinking of
picking up a few
myself.
