may I ask where you live? I went to see a 77
corvette about 7 months ago, and it was advertised at 8 grand, it was
silver, and looked goregous, but handled like crap. When you would jump on
it, the sides would twist, scary! it wsa the L82 option. I live in
PA.

Thanks for all the help guys, it turns
out that this corvette looked good from the road but drove like a hay rack
& the paint was very poor. Looked as though all the quarters where worked
on at one time or another (they had approx. 2 inch wide seam that wasn't
blended very well.
Needless to say I passed on this one. Thanks for your
very informative feedback!

corvette worth?
Can any of you help me. I have a chance to
purchase a 77 corvette but have little knowledge of them. (always been a
chevelle guy).
So, it looks to be in good to average condition &
the guy is asking 7500.
It has a crack in the hood where the fan hit
the underside (apparently the water pump went out on his son &
caused the damage)
To me this sound like a good price But I really
don't know about vet's. Any thing I should be looking for as I test
drive this?
