Hey Rodney.  I put on a set of HSC  1 7/8" headers on my 408sbc.  I spent a lot
of time trying to figure out why my timeslips when south.  I recently swapped in
a set of 1 5/8 Dynomax headers, and picked up 0.2  (yes 2 tenths)  in the 1/8th
mile!!!   No other change, just the header swap made a big difference.

Get the smaller tube headers, and sell the ones you have.   Don't make the same
mistake.  :-)
