I've had the same experience that you and Brad have had but with National
Parts Depot. Surprise price hikes, high shipping costs, poor part quality
(compared to OEM) and indifferent service. I think they are all doing SO
well they've copped an attitude.

Subject: [Chevelle-List] Ground Up follows trend

Having just read the article about price differences on the internet
as compared to what they are charging when you call them up, I placed an
order with Ground Up today. I ordered two parking break cables. One
listed in their 2002 catalog for $85.00 and the other for $24.95. At the
end of the order the numbers weren't right so I asked the guy the read
them back for me. When he got to the cables he says $89.00 and $26.95
respectively. I question him and his exact response was "That's a new
catalog and we threw it together real fast so some of the prices aren't
right". I ask if he would honor the listed prices and he said no. I ask
twice for shipping charges and he couldn't give them to me. His answer
"should be around 10% of the cost of the items purchased". Since when
does shipping cost have anything to do with the price of an item. I
thought it would be dependent on weight, size, and destination, SILLY
ME!!!
