I'd have to agree to the extent that I depend on this list to steer me away from poor quality parts, lame suppliers, and high shipping costs for common items. I read the complaints. And, frankly, my complaint about Gateway (for example) is very valid. I would not buy from them again and believe that it is justified to warn others about their "culture" (or lack thereof). Just MHO.

I love having things as cheap as possible as the next guy, but I also recognize that you can only go so low before the company gets into trouble. Look at AMD. Instead of making a good product that could compete with Intel they made a less expensive product and got into a price war. Now they are laying off people. If it means Year One staying in business, keep on charging that fee. Competition and choice is a good thing. Just my $0.02.
