There are a few that have done it that lurk at Team Chevelle in the Brakes & Suspension forum.  They swear by the tall spindle theory but I don’t know if that’s just a side effect of getting 12” brakes or not.  With my 13” BOLT-ON-TO-STOCK-SPINDLES Baer system and the 17” Nitto tires, the old Chevelle handles as well as I need. :*)

Has anyone done this conversion on their car and do you really feel it made a substantial improvement? There seems to be two schools of thought on this subject on Team Chevelle. I hate to spend the big bucks if it is a small change.
