Howdy guys,
Was wondering what type of paint to use on coil springs to keep it from cracking or is there something else that is used other than paint to make them look good? Thanks,

You can get a copy of the Hurst shifters from http://www.mrgasket.com Click on the Hurst shifter logo on the left.  When you get to the Hurst page, along the top is a menu bar with ~Online Catalogs~.  Click Hurst from the drop down link.  Seven smaller, specialized catalogs and one master are available in .PDF format.

I don't personally know anyone using a Long shifter but you might try going to the transmission forum at Team Chevelle at http://www.chevelles.com/cgi-bin/forum/Ultimate.cgi and doing a search.  I'm sure someone there has tried one.

Does anyone have a fairly new Hurst Competition Plus shifter for street use?  I thought I read they were "improved"  ....or was that marketing?

Does anyone have the LONG brand and can compare them? Is it worth the huge increase in price?
