Pulled the hood off my '64. Was going to take it to be media blasted, since
there is a lot of surface rust on the underside.

When I lifted it off and turned it upright to carry it away (all by
myself...woof!), a torrent of sound flooded my ears as thousands of
particles of rust, metal, debris, etc. sloshed around the "inside" of my
hood.

Short of pulling the hood apart in two pieces, how can I clean out the
"inside" of my hood? I'm also worried about this after I media blast...if
the media particles get in-between the inner and outer layers, won't this be
impossible to get out?

Anyone else suffer though this problem?
