I have the same gauges in my 66 Elky as Dale. They are pretty cool. I
think the set that fits the stock dash would've have been a lot easier to
install than custom fabing a dash like I had done (cheaper too).

Unlike Dale, I was able to fit the oil sender with a 45* adapter which
clears the headers and isn't really visible unless you know what you're
looking for.

My only gripe is the gauges don't react as fast as analog gauges do,
especially the tach. When I stomp on the gas it seems like the tach is
trying to catch up to the engine. The fuel gauge is similar, as you drive
the percentage is constantly changing.

On the positive side, besides the cool look, the speedo calibration is a
snap. If you change rear gears or even tire sizes, you can adjust the
speedo with a button. You can set warning points for each gauge or even
trigger a shift light off the tach (I did this). Overall, very nice
features that outweigh my gripe.
