Dakota Digital came out the with the replacement for 66/67 a couple of
years after I bought my "universal" setup from them. I have seen this
in one 67 Chevelle and they really look nice. I don't have any pics or
personal knowledge of the installation but if they're anything like the
universal set, it couldn't be easier. There's a single control box that
plugs into a wiring harness from the gauge set. Individual wires from
sending units, blinkers, etc attach to the control box. One Ign Hot and
one Ground from the control box and you're in business. You can even
download the manual from Dakota's website. I don't think it'd be cheaper
than a repo gauge set - about $200/$250 for the repo setup and $635 for
the Dakota.

The ONLY problem I found was the oil pressure sender was too large to
fit on the oil filter boss on a big block directly (sender is physically
too large). Probably could plumb it out with adapters but that'd look
shabby. There is an oil filter pressure take of at the drivers side
front of the block. If it's never been out (most haven't), it's a real
PITA. I had mine loosened and a new plug installed when I had the
engine down for rebuilding.
