It does
look like a great car in the pic, but of course we are looking at the good
side. The passenger fender apparently took a hit, but if the damage is limited
to just a couple of exterior items and everything else is as good as it appears,
then I'd say it was a good deal for $1000. Also, it occurred
to me that some of the 1965 "I" engine codes that were mentioned here
and were not in my book may have been omitted because those engines were not
available in Chevelles. After all, it is called the "Catalog of Chevelle,
Malibu, & El Camino ID Numbers 1964-87" so maybe if a particular engine
was not offered in the A-body cars, it was not listed in this book. I don’t really
know, but I'm curious. The only "I" code the book shows for 1965 is
