According to my book, the 1966 396 325hp motor is either an ED (w/ M/T), EH (w/ M/T & A.I.R.), EK (w/ A/T), or EM (w/ A/T & A.I.R.).
I don't show any IV or IW for 1965, nor any IN for either year. I am getting this from the "Catalog of Chevelle, Malibu, & El Camino ID Numbers 1964-87" (ISBN 1-880524-06-6).
