I wouldn't really worry too much about the SS factor. The fact that the car is now 3rd generation owned is WAY too cool. we have a gal in our club that is the 3rd generation owner of her 67 malibu. Its a real nice car but the history and it being a 3rd generation car get it a lot of attention at the shows.
