Yep, have a 200R4 behind my 500HPBB in my 72 El Camino.  No problems, 
course it is a non-lockup which you have to do to handle that much HP. 
It was built by Art Carr with a 2200 stall.  Important thing is the TV 
cable, if not done correctly then yes you will have problems.  Putting a 
Phoenix 200R4 in my 72 Monte Carlo behing a 330HP Crate 350.  It will be 
lockup in front of a 12 bolt posi 3.73 gears.
