Although I had an issue in the past with Hagerty over having nitrous in my car, I have to say; if I were an insurer giving good rates for low usage I would make sure “driving to work” was listed as a “not to do” in my program. Let’s face it; driving to work has to be one of the highest exposure times you can drive. The whole point of classic car insurance is to cover you for limited use. Under the definition of classic vehicle, it states:       1) Is maintained primarily for use in car club activities, exhibitions, parades, other function of public interest or for a private collection; and       2) Is used infrequently for other purposes   which doesn't seem to preclude driving to work.   The policy does stipulate having to have a "regular use vehicle".
