Dale,
   which of the AGR units did you choose?  They have several.  One of the fellas I 
talked to over at AGR recommended a variable..   I believe it was 13-16:1

That's probably true going from manual to power, Herb.  If you already
have power steering like I did, the feel is definitely heavier.  I also
have a 67 Elky w/PS and it's as light as the SS was - there's a
noticable difference.  Not that it's bad, just different. <G>
