Diane I'm kinda big on originality......but I have a 70 LS6 SS that is red, so it's easy for me to say this.
BUT OTOH, it is YOUR car and you should do to it what makes YOU happy :). You can put the 400 in it and make it really nice and who knows....maybe alot of people do not like gulf green and you may be able to more with a different color. I believe the 1st thing people see in a car is the color; so I vote repaint her to what ever color you want. P.S. what color are you thinking of? Bill C
