Have you ever talked to VA's Tech people? Most of them know less about
their systems than we do.
Ask a VA owner how they control the temperature in the car. Ask how they
like the cheesy plastic cover that VA supplies for the firewall. Sorry,I
used to think VA made "the" unit for our cars. IMO,other systems are
comparable and a few are much better.
Hey,it's just my opinion,though.

Another thing about VA as I've installed two.
I installed two on both of our elkys, takes a while to install.
The BAD: They use a plastic blower fan & both broke, 1 in 3 months
& the other in 2 years (one in each Elky).
I ordered more & bitched because the didn't have a steel one (not
easy to change (after you have it installed).
They use a cheesy spring type hose clamp to hold it to the motor
shaft. What happens is it has a D type hole in the blower that
fits the flat on the motor shaft, it (plastic fan) cracks a fine
line & then splits & slips on the motor shaft (which destroys the
fan).
What I did when I had to change them was to use Krazy instant
glue & put it on the motor shaft & inside the fan, them pushed
the fan on the shaft (fast) & then put the glue around the
"cheesy" spring clamp. Theory was that if it cracked the glue
would NOT let it destroy itself & continue to work fine.
That was 3 yrs ago on both elkys so I guess it worked.
(the replacement fans are the same as the original).
