what does that do?
I see the day when the companies that sent all the work to China & fired all their workers can no longer sell their product in the USA, because people in China can't afford it. Then will they say, we F'ed up?
All I can say is that I have faith in my country and it's corporate & political leaders. Remember years back when everyone thought that the Japanese were going to take over? It didn't happen. Remember when OPEC cut off the oil? Everyone said that the US economy would tank. We had some inflation problems, but we came through OK. If you look at the overall picture things are quite different than looking at individual situations. It's bad that xxx people lost their jobs, but if it keeps the company in business, that's a lot better than xxxxx people losing theirs. I totally agree with CEO compensation being out of control. The only people to fix that are the ones on the compensation committees of the boards, and they won't do much, 'cause next time they may be the ones who are up for promotion.
Just be thankful that you live in a place where you can bitch about the policies without worrying about being jailed.
We probably need to close this thread or we'll get in trouble over useless chit-chat again.
Back to Chevelles!!! :-))
