I'm the same way. If there's a slightly warm (30s) day, I like to start mine about once a month and let it run long enough for the thermostat to open and move some water around. If you're going to start it, make sure you let it heat up. For those folks whose cars dont have a thermostat, I probably wouldn't bother, as it'll never heat up.
