Here in central WI, I've filled the tank, pulled the battery, covered it up, and let it set till spring. Same with my buddy's '67 SS which sits in my shed all winter. We always have some fun on the first warm evening sometime in April. Our wives sit on our deck and can hear us the whole time as we go around the country 'block' - about 2 miles on each side. We've been doing this same routine for about 5 years, and did the same thing separately for another 5 years before that.
No problems so far! But then the TLC begins for all of the warm months.
