Hi everyone, I have an old american made bench grinder on which I would like to put on a "Normal" grinding disc, to do this I need to have an adapter made and I have a friend that will take care on that on a lathe but the threads are 1/2" UN Extra Fine left hand and those taps cost $129 each!!!!!!!!! thats more than the whole grinder is worth so thats excluded,.
So my question is... do somebody have a tap that I could borrow and send back after use or do somebody have a tap and are willing to cut the threads in the adapter for me if I send it?? I know that this is a shoot in the dark, but the specs on the tap is as follows 1/2" x 28 UNEF (NEF) HSS hand tap left hand thanks! Andr�
