Good idea. I should just buy new fittings for the tranny. I only get to work
on the car one day a week, so I want to go out there armed for every
possibility.

One other thought,  you may have different fittings with different seat
types.  Were the lines pre-made or did you make new ones yourself?  You
never know.  Compare the female seats between the trans and the radiator.
There is really no other place for it to leak.  Check for a nick in the
brass fittings in the trans.  That is one other possibility.
