The elec. choke is jetted for a little more economy, the man. choke for more performance. Either could be changed, of course. In either case, you can't go wrong with the 600cfm Performer. Also, for everyday driving, stay with vac. secondaries.

I have a 71 Malibu with a 350 that i drive around town every day. I am trying to find a good carb for it. I have been looking at the 600cfm Edelbrock carbs. are these good carbs? Also which is better a Mech. secondary, or a vac. secondary? And an electirc or manual choke? Any input you guys good give me would be great. Thanks in advance.
