I swapped a 307 for a 454 in my 69, and had to change the motor mounts.  I'm sure you will have to also.
There are 2 styles/sizes.  The 283/307/327/350 uses one (I think), and the big blocks use the other.

Regardless, I'm sure you'll need the other mounts and frame brackets.

I have been hearing different opinions on motor mounts.  Do you or dont you need to change motor mounts or their positions when swithing from small block to big block?  I have a 68 chevelle that originally had a 307.  I am considering dropping a 396 into it.  I am not sure now if the motor mounts and positions will work?  Any help is greatly appreciated. Ryan
