Be sure to use the weatherstrip adhesive in a well ventilated area.  I’ve seen Mae West Cadillacs, but never Jay Leno weatherstrip. :*)  If you have any left over, cut a small piece and photograph it from the cut side and send it to Jay…he may get a kick out of it.

When I got my car it didn’t have a trunk seal.  I purchased one and it is a little confusing on exactly what goes in the run against the adhesive…  Anyone else out there with a 69 (don’t know if it is year specific) that might have a pic of which side goes down into the run?

 

If you look at the seal in one way, it kind of looks like jay leno.
