I'm 42 and I originally bought my El Camino for my brother, because he said he always dreamed of having one. Personally, the one I would have "dreamed" about would have been a 69 convertible. However, the EC sat in my brother's driveway for about 2 years until his wife got tired if looking at it, and I always liked 69s. So, I bought it back from bro Joe (methinks I never fully paid him for it), and put it back together. It is now very respectable and in full service. I was just thinking the other day that I should have taken pictures on days like when I was using it to haul lumber in rain and snow, or the day I had a whole pallet plus a few boxes of Pergo flooring in the back.
