Just to give you a little perspective,Dale,cause you have seen the car but the stock displacement LT5 in my 90 ZR-1 with ported heads & intake plenum,Jeal intake cams,and Jeal 2" headers made almost 425rwhp. On that 572,going from 460rwhp to just 406 would have been very disturbing and indicative of some problem. Another possible cause could have been heat soak as big inch tall deck engines like that are hard to keep cool.
Off topic but how's your 67 Camino coming along? You done any more to it?

I’m sure everyone has their own ‘numbers’ but http://x-ram.com/dynotuning.html was my source.  I’m also sure that many tests would result in many answers just like the drop from 460hp on the first pull to 406hp on the second.  I agree that HP (or torque) per $ is probably not the most efficient on the 572 but still, 400 rear wheel hp is impressive.

Never heard this before.......15%...MAYBE 20% MAX.  That 572 is a DOG for what it costs.
