Jim the unit was 400.00 and i bought an install kit that was 220. the chevy dealership knows me by name after all they have done to my cars and they said it would run around 125. to install. the install kit has new bearing and all seals. the bearing surfaces are the important part on the axles. i have one axle that is pitted just a little and the guy said i should replace it or some day it might start loosing rear end grease.im looking for one know, but it should not hurt to drive it for a while.hope this helps..bob

posi installed? Also, were there any concerns about
using the new unit with the existing axles/bearings as
far as the added torque/RPMs?
