Clint:
Is this for your air-bagged elky? I was advised by the air ride people that a dropped spindle was "too low" with their A-body air bag setup.

Fatman Fabrication now sells a taller A-body spindle with better geometry

Do you want to improve your handling at the same time? If so, you might
want to consider using Global West or Hotchkis kits to do the swap. You
can
change the geometry of the front end and get standard or large disc brakes
with their kits.

If the car is a cruiser and you are not planning to upgrade to bigger
wheels
or drive into corners really hard, then you are probably better off using
a
kit that lets you keep your spindles.

I drive hard and push it into corners and so I wanted the advantage of the
taller spindles. I have pretty much all the Global West stuff on my car.

Subject: [Chevelle-list] disc brake conversion

Need input and recommendation for converting shoe to disc (front) for my
66
Malibu. Lot of them out there but don't know which is reasonable and
good.
Thanks
