Header size will depend on the length and the load you put on top of it. Figure out what the span of the building ,roof materials-etc and the distance between each truss. I can run a beam calculation for you. Obviously if the trusses are sitting over the beam the loads will be greater than if the trusses are running parallel to the beam. Have you designed the building yet and do you know what seismic zone you are in ? Placement of openings can be hindered by shear panels.                                                             Larry (Z)
