That's exactly what I have in my shop, the guy who built mine
(previous owner) used the old kitchen cabinets and countertops. So I've
got my big heavy bench for doing heavy greasy work, and nice smooth
surfaces to work on carbs, electronics and other bits of what-not. I
even had a nice space for my stove so that I can do some small
powdercoating. Plus with under-cabinet lighting, it makes things so
much nicer to work with. Never skimp on lighting when you get to that
part.

extended space was maybe 12x12...room for the tool boxes, bench,

I can't tell you how excited I have become over doing radiant heat in

I'm in the process of buying a new house so I get to start with a
clean slate for my garage. It's an unusual configuration (at least
I think so). It is as wide as a normal 2/2.5 car garage, but it has
a tandem space. So one side is two car lengths deep. Kind of cool,
but it's not really wide enough for the Chevelle, so I'm going to
make that my work shop area.
This web site is going to be great for ideas, but if you guys have
any ideas for me for cabinets and a work bench, let 'em fly. I need
to decide whether to build something myself or buy.
