Thanks for all the input..still not sure what I'm gonna do, but if the difference is gonna be 500 bucks I might as well go new..are all the aftermarket rear ends about the same, or is one supposed to be better than the others? I guess I've heard of Currie and Moser more than any of the other companies. I'm sure this is a dumb question but what's the difference in spline numbers? I'm thinking of getting a 3.73 gear ratio. Thanks again, sure do enjoy this list..it really helps a rookie like me.  Tom P
