Unless they are installed by someone who really
knows their stuff,aftermarket security systems can drive you insane with
intermittent electrical problems. My first ZR-1 and present 69 El Camino both
had Viper-brand systems installed in them when I bought the cars and both had
problems. I removed them from both cars and solved the problems. There are much
simpler solutions.
Herb said it best. Get an adequate agreed value ins
policy. That's what I did.
