Hi Larry, I've got a hidden switch wired into the neutral safety switch. When it is in the off position and the key is turned it acts like you are trying to start it while in gear, nothing at all happens. As for hood lock, I have a small tab welded to the hood latch lever that is below the front bumper with a hole drilled in it that lines up to a hole that is drilled in the bottom side of the bumper. All it takes then is a short shank padlock through the bumper and through the hood latch lever and "tada" one locked hood. All this is done to try and protect someone from taking what we have worked so hard to get, maintain and enjoy. I was told something a long time ago, "a lock is nothing but something to keep an honest person honest, if they want it they will get it no matter how many locks you may put on it".

What are you all doing to protect your Chevelle while out and about?

Security systems?

Fuel shut-offs?

Electrical cut-offs?

Hood locks?

Steering Wheel locks?

Thanks for your response,

Larry Shouse
