Hey, the guy who had my 69 El Camino before me bought it for the sole
purpose of pulling the running, numbers-matching engine out of it for his
'85 Camaro, and then he junked the body. Of course pulling the engine
required cutting every wire on both front harnesses. Then of course there
was the repair to the rubber fuel line between the sending unit at the tank
and the steel line going forward to the engine (patched with electrical
tape). That was a nice touch. Believe me, I could go on and on too, but it's
so rewarding when you get it all straightened out and running. My car still
has some minor Charlie Foxtrots to fix, but it is in good running order now
and I drive it almost every day. You'll get there. Take your time and enjoy
