Since Edelbrock has one of the most modern foundries in the USA,that timing cover sounds like a forgery. There's a lot of that stuff going on and our US companies are having a hard time putting a stop to it,too. Someone over there is copying Edelbrock's intake manifolds. GM's Bowtie aluminum parts are cast by Edelbrock. I've heard about a lot of failures with the CAT roller rocker's needle bearings. Not everything Chinese-made is bad but as long as I have an alternative when it comes to parts for my El Camino,their parts will not be on it. To each his own.
