Get yourself some masking tape used by painters. The blue stuff made by
Scotch is what I used. Take the tape and tape off your fender edges and
hood edges. This way, you protect your paint job from chips and scratches
as you try to install the hood and move it around. The blue tape is
designed to peel off easy, and doesn't seem to leave any sticky stuff
behind.

The fit is "so so"! And i wonder if you have any general suggestions how
to get it properly lined up without being too close to fenders or jamming
the wipers to the windshield!?
