John, I converted the center carb on my Tri power
setup to electric choke. It's a Rochester. I took the carb to my local parts
store and we pulled chokes off the shelf until we found one that was a match. It
has worked flawlessly for three years now. I highly recommend it.

anyone used the electric conversion for the divorced choke? Has it worked
correctly. After seeing that I might give it a try if anyone here has had any
success with it. I could never get my divorce choke to work correctly, so
I rotated the spring so that the choke flap stays open. It doesn't get that
cold here but it would be a lot better to be able to get the cold engine
running smoother sooner.

Currently running a 770 Avenger w/electric choke but
want to put my Q-Jet
back on and connect it to electric choke
instead of divorced choke.
I called NAPA, they said they needed
carb # for the correct elec. choke.
They dont carry them in stock
but can order them.
